A contemporary artist with over 30 years of experience. Married to a former Royal Marine.
My creative practice has evolved from many years of drawing and painting to now include sculpture.
I strongly believe that the creative arts help to improve health, wellbeing and quality of life. In January 2014 for over 7 years, I established and ran a theraputic art workshop in HMS Drake for seriously Wounded, Injured & Sick Serving Personnel in Hasler Company and Help4Heroes Veterans. The workshop was part of a Holistic Activities Program as a bespoke recovery and rehabilitation pathway for those suffering from serious physical injuries, terminal illnesses, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and other mental health conditions.
I know, that those who have art in our souls and have used art as a therapeutic healing tool throughout our lives understand its value at the deepest level.
